Introduction to breathwork
We all breathe.
That is the one constant that we can rely on while we're alive. As the matter of fact, we rely on it so much that we don't even think about it. We are not aware of our breath. It just happens to us. What if there was more to it? Can we breathe wrong? Develop bad patterns that make us more stressed, tired, and push us away from our best and natural self?
Even though known for thousands of years, breathwork has only been making its way into the mainstream very recently. Now, more than ever, reconnecting with your breath can be so important. It might seem like such a small thing to do, almost too small! Reconnecting with our breath and using it as a tool to become more calm, aware and in control, is making its way to becoming the next big thing for anyone looking to balance their lives, become more mindful, and even access the deepest parts of their subconscious to heal emotional traumas or alter their broken behavioural patterns.
In this short documentary, we explore what is breath and what does it mean to us. We dive into exploring various breathing techniques, picking brain of its teachers, as well as people whose lives have been affected by only changing their breath.
